Antonio Brown Flip-Flops Feelings on Tom Brady Yet Again

Antonio Brown has been a controversial figure in the NFL ever since he joined the league with his talent and fearlessness. In an interview, Antonio discussed switching to Nike’s signature Air Max shoes. Brady fans are outraged because they believe that this is just another way for Antonio to slight Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady by sliding over him on social media platforms like Instagram despite what happened between them at last year’s AFC championship game.

Antonio Brown, a wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers, has been one of Tom Brady’s biggest critics throughout his career. This year, however, Brown changed his tune and said that he would love to play with Brady in the Super Bowl. Read more in detail here: antonio brown super bowl.

Antonio Brown Flip-Flops Feelings on Tom Brady Yet Again

Brown, Antonio has been without a jersey since he walked out on Tom Brady and the rest of his Tampa Bay Buccaneers more than seven weeks ago. But the seven-time Pro Bowl wide receiver doesn’t seem to be ready to let go of the situation, does he?

And it seems like Brady is on Brown’s bad side again, as AB went to Instagram on Monday to flip-flop his sentiments towards his former quarterback, as he has done many times since the notorious incident on January 2. Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians is on the same bad side as the rest of the team, and has been from the beginning of this saga. Brown, at the very least, has been consistent in this respect.

Brown played his last game with Tampa Bay the day after New Year’s, a 28-24 Bucs triumph against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium, after missing more than two months of the 2021 NFL season with an ankle injury. Following a heated sideline confrontation in the third quarter, the five-time All-Pro pulled off his jersey and pads and sprinted off the field. Shortly after, he was cut from the team.

Brown insists that his ankle wasn’t fit enough to play that day, a position he reiterated on Monday in his latest Bruce and Brady-bashing remarks.

On Instagram, Brown, Antonio took digs at Tom Brady and Bruce Arians.

In a post on his Instagram Stories on Monday, Brown posted an X-ray of his ankle and went back to the well of accusing the Buccaneers of sending him out onto the field in Week 17, knowing he was hurt. Writing on top of the photo, AB said the Bucs tried to “hurt me intentionally” and then went after Brady about targets, saying he was lied to. As he’s done previously, he also bashed Arians and capped it off with one expletive to everyone.

“They attempted to purposefully harm me @buccaneers,” he said.

“Sent me out there despite the fact that I was still hurting.”

“Tom said if I came to play injured, he’d chuck it.”

“Imagine getting wounded, having to play through this, and being misled to [sic] if he didn’t throw it.”

“Coach told me to get out of here if I couldn’t run on this.”

“F*** you all, MF.”

“I still can’t [sic] stop myself @nfl,” he says.

Bashing the Arians is exactly what AB has been doing from his initial remark about the event in January. But he’s back to slamming Brady, the man who landed him the job with the Bucs in the first place, signaling another another shift in his attitude toward his former QB.

Brown has shown conflicting sentiments towards Brady on many occasions.

So, in the last seven weeks, we’ve gone from Brown being angry with Brady, to Brown being misunderstood about Brady, to Brown admiring Brady, and now back to Brown being angry with Brady. Is it close to the mark?

Brown said on an edition of the Full Send Podcast shortly after his release from the Bucs:

“A buddy is someone who has your back, in my opinion.” In athletics, not everyone will be your buddy. Why is Tom Brady my friend? I’m an excellent football player, after all. He requires my participation in football. Friendship means various things to different people.”

Brown eventually changed his mind, telling TMZ that his statements were taken out of context (always a classic) and that Brady is “one of my real pals” little over a week later. When Brady announced his retirement, AB paid respect to the seven-time Super Bowl winner on Instagram, thanking him for “allowing me to continue my career at my darkest periods and helping me become a champion.”

And that brings us right back to now to a time where Brown is going with the “F*** you all, MF.”” approach. As it goes with AB, we’ll just have to wait and see what he says next.
