LEC Spring 2022 Playoffs: Teams, Bracket, and Results

The Season is finally here! With the conference finals around the corner, all eyes are on one of gaming’s most competitive and popular leagues. Esports has become a powerhouse in recent years with new games that focus more heavily on strategy than traditional sports titles

The “lcs spring 2022 playoffs” is the tournament that will be held in Spring of 2022. The tournament has a total of 8 teams and each team plays a best-of-five series to determine who will win the championship.

 

With the completion of Week 8 of the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) Spring 2022, and therefore the Group Stage, the six teams who have qualified for the playoffs have been determined. These teams will compete in a double elimination tournament, with the victor earning a spot in the 2022 Mid Season Invitational. All playoff matchups are best of five. In the end, the Fnatic team wins three more games versus G2 to advance to the Winner’s Finals, where they will play Rogue. G2 has been relegated to the Losers’ Bracket.

In the Losers’ Bracket, Excel Esports will face the Team Vitality “superteam” in the organization’s first ever playoffs. Excel seemed to have a chance to upset the favorites for a brief while, but Vitality came out on top.

Despite the fact that Vitality is the winner, many would say that this superteam is performing much below expectations.
