Lineage W is a new free-to-play MMORPG from NCsoft and NetEase. It combines the best of Lineage II with the best of Blade & Soul, featuring a unique world where players can choose to be one of four distinct classes.
Lineage W, a new installment in the long-running Lineage series, was originally revealed for mobile in August, but was subsequently released on PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC later that year. We now have a definite calendar date: Thursday, November 4th, thanks to a video presentation from September.
There is one crucial caveat to this launch that should be mentioned. Korea, Japan, Russia, and nations in Southeast Asia and the Middle East will be represented in Region 1, while North America, South America, and Europe will be represented in Region 2. This is significant because Region 1 servers will get the game first, while Region 2 servers would receive the game later.
The same video presentation revealed further information about the game, including how global PvP would operate, a breakdown of the game’s four classes, and how other features will function. There was also a lot of debate regarding how the developers would deal with issues like gold farming. Interested players may register their character names right now, which is crucial since names are worldwide rather than server-specific. Meanwhile, the game’s website has unveiled new details about many areas of the game world, including narrative and video from various places.
