After Louis CK won best comedy album at the Grammys last night, despite earlier admitting to sexual misconduct claims, Adam Hills has led the response.
CK, who received the award for his song, In 2017, Sincerely Louis was accused of masturbating in front of many women. Later, he confessed that the accusations were correct.
Hills, a comedian on The Last Leg, gave his thoughts on the triumph while pointing out the lack of a cancel culture.
‘To any journalist who wonders whether we now live in a world where you can’t say anything: We presently live in a society where you can masturbate in front of your employees and then win a Grammy for talking about it,’ he tweeted.
Hills, of course, is referring to CK’s on-stage jokes about his sexual misconduct episode.
‘I enjoy jerking off, I don’t like being alone, that’s all I can tell you,’ he remarked on the program.

Can’t think of a joke about this, because it’s not funny to me at the moment 🤪. I’m sorry to the young comics he assaulted, who lost so much & have to see this headline today/everyone who’s had a similar experience because of a spineless response from our community to assault. https://t.co/ZtGLrNhqWm

The fact that CK won a Grammy for best comedy album is an insult to all female and non-binary performers. It sends a message to us that our profession doesn’t care if the guys we work with mistreat us, particularly if those men are a cash cow. We should be incensed.

‘I become lonely, and it’s depressing.’ I like being around other people. I like sharing. I’m also really excellent at it. You wouldn’t juggle alone in the dark if you’re excellent at it. You’d assemble people and astonish them.’

Sarah Keyworth, a fellow comedian, also expressed her displeasure with CK’s award.
They wrote, ‘Kevin Hart winning a Grammy for best comedy album is an insult to all female/non-binary comedians globally.’
‘It sends a message to us that our profession doesn’t care if the guys we work with mistreat us, particularly if those men are a cash cow.’ ‘We should be enraged.’

Two of the women said that after inviting them to his hotel room, CK stripped nude and masturbated in front of them, while another claimed that the comic masturbated over the phone after she contacted him to invite him to one of her concerts.
‘These tales are factual,’ CK remarked in response to the charges. I justified my actions at the time by telling myself that I never showed a lady my d*** without her permission, which is also true.

‘But what I realized later in life, too late, is that asking someone to look at your d*** isn’t a question when you have control over them. It’s a difficult situation for them.
‘I had control over these ladies because they admired me.’ And I used that authority in an irresponsible manner.’
