Rangers 1

Rangers are a group of people who protect nature, and the Earth. They use their powers to defend forests against humans or animals that would cause harm. Rangers are popular in many countries around the world where they provide a service similar to what police departments do everywhere else.

Rangers 1 is a game that allows players to explore the wilderness, hunt animals, and build settlements. The game has been released for PC, Mac, and iOS devices.

Celtic’s goal before the halftime by Cameron Carter-Vickers proved to be the game-winner in a critical derby.

Celtic made a huge step towards recovering the Scottish Premiership championship after coming from behind to defeat Rangers at Ibrox and go six points ahead of their opponents.

Tom Rogic’s close-range shot cancelled out Aaron Ramsey’s opening after seven minutes, but the leaders regained control when Cameron Carter-Vickers drove home a free-kick.

The second half was delayed as broken glass was thrown on the ground, but Rangers were unable to produce a leveller when play resumed.

As they faced a possibly knockout blow in their championship defense, Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s team sought to battle back, but were greeted with stout resistance as Celtic clung to a crucial win, with Joe Hart only required to make one significant save.

Liel Abada, a substitute, also squandered two opportunities to clinch the game for the visitors, with Allan McGregor making a fantastic save to deny the Israeli’s second effort.

Ange Postecoglou’s side remain in possession of the league with a six-point lead and a 16-goal edge with six games to go, even with one more derby to come at Celtic Park.

Rangers’ first home loss in almost two years came in the second half, when Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt were superb in heading away repeated crosses into their area.

Rangers started Kemar Roofe up front since Alfredo Morelos was injured, but he missed both of his side’s best chances from within the box.

In a game of intense running, both teams had penalty requests turned down, with players suffering from cramp in the final moments.

Celtic, on the other hand, held tight and took the crucial three points, extending their undefeated domestic record to 31 games.

Cameron Carter-Vickers was named man of the match.

Cameron Carter-Vickers celebratesTom Rogic was excellent in the first half, but Carter-Vickers scored the game-winning goal and was terrific defensively after the interval. In a dominant performance, the centre-back won eight of his ten duels and produced nine clearances and three interceptions.

What did we discover?

Celtic’s aggressive style and energy have been complimented this season, as seen by their 3-0 derby victory last time.

What goes unnoticed is that they have the greatest defensive record in the league, and that their triumph was forged in the second half by a persistent work ethic, outstanding defensive posture, and a willingness to defend in their own box.

After a shaky start by the visitors, Tom Rogic was the calmest player in the middle of the park, and his mobility and passing abilities gave Rangers issues.

But captain Callum McGregor, whose driving drive brought up the game’s first goal from nothing in the early minutes when Celtic were struggling, and Daizen Maeda, who ran consistently from the front, deserve praise as well.

There is still work to be done, but no team in the last century has given up a six-point advantage this early in the season.

Rangers’ lack of attacking fluidity, which has been prevalent in recent months domestically, was once again visible. Celtic appeared prepared to give up the flanks and defend crosses, and the home side did so much too often instead of hunting for space inside.

That was perhaps the more shocking considering how brilliantly they set up the first goal by pushing Josip Juranovic outside and allowing Ryan Kent to run inside and cross for Ramsey to score.

They have a Europa League quarter-final and a Scottish Cup semi-final against Celtic to look forward to, but the league currently seems to be a long shot, even if they fight to the finish.

Van Bronckhorst has gotten good results from his club in Europe, but Rangers’ domestic struggles remain due to a lack of a defined offensive identity. Last year’s league title seems like a distant memory.

What they had to say

“It’s not over yet,” Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst said on Sky Sports. “But this result makes it more difficult for us.”

“We got off to a good start, but the [equalizer] was a huge setback since we were playing so brilliantly. We attempted to play in their half in the second half. We generated wonderful opportunities, but we ultimately failed.”

“It was a great effort,” Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou said. We didn’t get off to the best of beginnings, so for this bunch of guys to turn it around in such a positive way, and for the perseverance they’ve showed, I’m really pleased.

“Everyone understands how difficult it is to visit this location. They’re a talented team that’s unbeaten in this league this season, and understanding the stakes and the importance of three points in today’s league, it was always going to be a challenge for us.”

What comes next?

Rangers can’t afford any more mistakes when they travel to Paisley to play St Mirren next Sunday (12:00 BST), after a journey to Braga (20:00) in the Europa League quarterfinals on Thursday.

Celtic take on St Johnstone on Saturday (15:00), with no European football to divert their attention away from their championship bid.
