This is not the first time that Sean Young has been in a Dune film, but it is the first time she’s playing a role other than Princess Irulan. She seems to be having fun with it and you can tell by her facial expressions.

This will be director Glenn Campbell’s (Aladdin’s Adventures) second feature film, while Tammy Klein will be making her directorial debut. Lauren Pritchard’s script for Robot Apocalypse is well-known, as is Joe Roche’s screenplays for Meteor Moon and Collision Earth.
Planet Dune brings Sean Young (Blade Runner) back her origins, bringing her full circle as she appears in both David Lynch’s 1984’s Dune and Asylum’s offering. The cast is completed by Emily Killian, Tammy Klein, and Clark Moore.

She subsequently fractured her arm just as she was about to begin shooting Vicki Vale in Tim Burton’s Batman.
She said that she was fired from Dick Tracy after rebuffing Warren Beatty’s overtures, and that she was branded ‘difficult’ to deal with as a result. Since then, she has continued to work in the industry, releasing a film almost every year. She’s had a long and varied career, appearing in comedies such as Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and Fatal Instinct as well as independent films like Even Cowgirls Get the Blues and Bone Tomahawk.
